Its that time of year again. The neighbors are hard at work, right outside my front door. In a couple weeks time, the entire valley will be lush and green. Just felt like sharing my morning view.

Beautiful photo's.
I helped my girls family get their rice fields ready for planting in April. burning off the fields and hauling manure to each field.
She and her family are planting now and I get the daily reports. I wish I were there now to see the fields come alive.
Great pictures, my wife gazed at them longingly for a good while this morning.
I figured these photos would appeal more to my Thai readers, far from home. Too bad there is no scratch and sniff on a computer. I enjoy living here all year round but when the carpet of rice gets long and lush it sets off the darker greens of the forest and it seems so peaceful and calming. The harvest is followed closely by the cold season, another favorite of mine. Today it is overcast with a steady cool breeze making the world very pleasant indeed.
Great photos again. I'm really missing watching the rice farmers while stuck in freezing Adelaide, South Australia.

So when will you once again grace the muggy rice fields of the Rai?
Great photos! Indeed, there is something spiritual about the rice fields... Enjoy your blog, perhaps we'll meet up some day.
